Beginner Wheel Throwing

Our eight week beginner wheel throwing class will meet weekly for 8 weeks, giving students the opportunity to learn the basics of wheel throwing. We have found that life gets in the way and sometimes student have to miss a week - or we have a tornado warning or a snow storm or whatever. So during the 8 weeks, there will be at least 6 weeks with instruction. AND you get 8 weeks of 24/7 access to the studio for practice and 8 weeks of access to all our glazes, clays and firing. So - during the 8 weeks, we will make mugs and other cylinder shapes, and learn to make and attach handles, trim and glaze. Kids are welcome, however we recommend this class for around age 8 and up.
