We have 10 Shimpo wheels, a slab roller, hand building tools and an extensive collection of glazes and colored slips. Standard clays always in stock include KY Mudworks Speckled Turtle, Brown Bear and Laguna B Mix. Other clays often in stock include KY Mudworks Sheltowee, Mulhollen, Big Turtle, White Bear, Ice Man as well as white and red earthenware. There is also reclaim clay available.
The cost is for one month membership. You will have access to studio dipping glazes and firing (there may be extra firing fees for over 20 pieces per month). Membership includes access to studio reclaim clay as available. Or you can bring your own midfire clay (cone 6) or purchase clay from the studio for your own use. 25 pounds of clay will run in the range of $20 - $35 dollars for studio members.
